Slippery Elm Plus Capsules have a few extra herbs added to the Slippery Elm to make it more supportive of the stomach after eating. The extra digestive herbs are cloves, cinnamon and peppermint. Take 1-4 capsules before, during or after eating, depending on what’s best for you.
Tea - Slippery Elm is a good “food” for anyone who has a need for support – recuperating, elderly, the young – it’s very easy to digest and very soothing for the throat, stomach and intestines. We think it’s best taken as tea because a whole cup of the tea soothes the largest area. Otherwise, use the capsules.
Ingredients: Slippery Elm 325g Min per Vegan capsule.
Slippery Elm Plus Capsules (Min per Vegan capsule) Slippery Elm 300mg, Cloves 10mg, Cinnamon 10mg, Peppermint 10mg.
Standard usage
1 capsule, 3 times a day, taken with food or a drink. If desired, up to twice this amount can safely be taken.
1-4 capsules during or after eating as and when desired
200g Slippery Elm Powder Only
Drink freely as and when required. Mix a teaspoon of Slippery Elm Tea with a mug of hot water. Can be made with cold water if preferred. Whisking or blending can make this easier. Add honey if desired. Safe for long term use.
