Carob powder can be used in place of cocoa in many recipes; as it's naturally sweet, you'll need less sugar. It's a tasty and nutritious addition to cakes, biscuits, smoothies, ice cream and drinks.
The Carob tree is part of the legume family and the beans grow in long pods that look similar to broad beans until they turn dark brown when they are ripe.
To make our Carob powder we simply roast and grind organic Carob beans. Many people add sugar to their Carob powder but we don’t. We just supply you with pure, organic, roasted and ground Carob beans.
