Walnut Waldorf Salad
A traditional salad that's fresh and crunchy, named after the Waldorf-Astoria hotel in NYC, where it was created in 1896.
- 2 apples
- 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and zest
- 4 sticks celery
- 50g grapes
- 75g walnut pieces
- Chop apples and place in lemon juice and zest
- Add halved grapes, chopped celery and 50g walnuts.
- Combine with mayonnaise and then decorate with the rest of the walnuts
- Place in air tight container until needed.
