Brown rice flour is a form of flour made from finely milled rice and is naturally gluten free. Rice flour is commonly used as a substitute for wheat in recipes. It may also be used as a thickening agent in chilled or frozen products since it inhibits liquid separation. Brown rice flour can be combined with other flours in recipes, soups, sauces and baking products.
