Water temperature and time is all it took to decaffeinate this Peruvian coffee from the SOLYCAFE and CENFROCAFE co-operatives. No chemicals, no solvents, just the Swiss Water process which helps preserve the flavour and the aroma. So, you can still enjoy wonderful, organic, high quality arabica coffee without the caffeine.

Bit too bland for me

I have always loved strong, dark coffee but have recently had to go caffeine-free temporarily to resolve a digestive problem. I tried this as I was ordering other things from Rough and Ready. Until that point, I had tried 3 or 4 other decaf coffees and did not like any of them. I am sorry to say I did not like this one either. I found it quite bland and so doubled the amount of coffee recommended. It was still on on the bland side but this time, I tasted the flavour which did not really appeal to my taste buds. Perhaps this is more a comment on my newly discovered dislike for decaf coffee rather than a comment on this particular brand of decaf coffee.
