Cinnamon sticks with a delicious but subtle flavour
Cinnamon sticks are used to flavour bread and cakes. Perfect when making mulled wine or when added to milky drinks and sweet sauces such as custard.
How to use cinnamon sticks
Use whole: Add a stick to custard or cream whilst it's warming, allowing the flavours to Infuse and then sieving to remove any cinnamon pieces.
Crumble or crush: The flakes can then be added cakes, cookies and crumbles
Ground: Grind the cinnamon into a powder and add to bread recipes or when adding into curries or tagines.
